This is a dual desk, where you will be placing candidates on both a contract and permanent basis. There are a number of warm clients where you will be expected to “go the extra mile” and utilise your networking skills to successful fill those skills sets where there is a definite shortage. There is an element of business development, but this is very much a “warm sell” as clients have vacancies to place with you.
A true consultant, you should ideally have previously health or social care recruitment experience, or demonstrate the ability to learn this sector quickly. You should have the ability to think on your feet, have a solutions based approach to your recruitment role and also be able to prioritise your workload.
