You should be a well tenured recruiter with extensive experience of recruiting in the White Collar Engineering space. You will be picking up a highly lucrative desk – clients are waiting for you to partner with them to provide the best possible match for their requirements. Although business development is a part of this role, it is more about demonstrating your capabilities as a professional recruiter, being able to deliver competent, capable Engineers in a timely fashion. In this space, relationships are key. You will be able to track projects through their various stages and anticipate recruitment requirements. An honest, non salesy attitude is critical to demonstrate your worth in this space. Additionally, if the ability to progress to management in the future is of interest to you, there are definite opportunities down the track, based on performance.
